1. Who is responsible for your data

Tesor is operated by Newads Technology Limited, a company incorporated in Hong Kong under company number 78542896, with its registered office at Flat/Rm A, 12/F, ZJ 300, 300 Lockhart Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong. We decide how and why your personal data is used, and this policy explains what we do with it.

2. What we collect

Your account. Your username, your profile details and the email address you sign in with.

What you send and publish. Messages, photos, voice messages, files and posts. They are encrypted in transit and stored on our servers so that they can be delivered and kept in sync across your devices. They are not end-to-end encrypted.

Your wallet. Your balances, wallet addresses, and the transfers, swaps, purchases, deposits and withdrawals you make.

Your devices. Device model, app version, the list of devices signed in to your account and the approximate city each one connects from.

Diagnostics and support. Crash reports, and what you write to us when you ask for help.

Verification. If we ask you to confirm who you are, the identity document, proof of address and other details you provide.

3. What stays on your phone

Your PIN is stored and checked on your phone and is not sent to us. Face ID is handled by your phone: we never receive your face data, only whether the check passed.

4. Why we use it

To run your account and hold your balance, to deliver your messages, to carry out the transfers you ask for, to keep the service secure and prevent fraud, to meet our legal obligations, to fix bugs and to answer you when you write to us.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not build advertising profiles.

5. Who receives it

Service providers. Companies that process data on our instructions: cloud hosting, email delivery, crash reporting, customer support tools and, where we check identity, identity verification and transaction monitoring providers.

Payment partners. When you buy crypto with a card or bank transfer, the provider that processes the payment receives the details it needs.

Blockchain networks. Deposits and withdrawals are recorded on public blockchains. Anyone can see them, and nobody can delete them.

Other users. People you talk to see your username, your profile and what you send them. Posts are visible to whoever you publish them to.

Authorities and advisers. We disclose data where the law requires it, and to our auditors and legal advisers where they need it.

6. Where it is processed

Your data may be stored and processed outside Hong Kong and outside the country you live in. Where we transfer it, we take steps so that it stays protected to the standard this policy describes.

7. How long we keep it

Account data is kept while your account exists and for 30 days after it is closed. Crash reports are kept for 90 days. Records of transactions and of any identity checks are kept for at least five years after the transaction or after your account is closed, as anti-money-laundering rules require.

8. How we protect it

Data is encrypted in transit, access to it inside the company is limited to the people who need it, and you can see and end the sessions on your account from the app. No system is perfectly secure; tell us at once if you think your account has been used by someone else.

9. Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account. Write to legal@tesor.tech from the address on your account, or ask from the app. We may need to confirm who you are first. Records on a blockchain cannot be removed, and we keep what the law obliges us to keep.

Depending on where you live, you may have further rights, including the right to object to how we use your data and the right to complain to your data protection authority.

10. Children

Tesor is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger.

11. Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will tell you inside the app at least 14 days before the change takes effect.
